Steady Mon Press Updates

I just wanted to send a Steady Moon Press Update. We have been accepting submissions for 3 weeks and have received poems about writing from all over the United States and world including France, Canada, England, Ireland, Australia, and even India. I love how universal this theme is and love all the tremendously positive feedback I have received from writers and publishers around the world. One of the greatest perks of beginning this company has been the networking with such intelligent and passionate individuals.

Due to the abundance of submissions we are setting a deadline for submissions on August 31st so if you would like to submit, submit soon! Submission guidelines can be found at www.steadymoonpress.com and submissions should be sent to steadymoonpress@gmail.com.

Another great update for SMP is that we have established a networking relationship with Amy Pollard, editor of The  Brevity Poetry Review. We have talked about doing facebook guest appearances, blog guest appearances and more. Here is a section taken from their blog:

"William Shakespeare once quipped: "Brevity is the soul of wit." In light of this famous line, Brevity Poetry Review is a blogzine that seeks to publish poems of 30 lines or less. Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis, with blogzine issues published every few months on a scheduled date. There are 10 poems per issue. While Brevity is unable to provide monetary compensation at this time, featured authors have the potential to gain valuable experience and exposure. Without further ado, let us begin our poetic journey of brevity and beauty."
